das fuhrer is just german for the leader, so what's the problem? there's no proof that he intended it to be a reference to hitler, people think of hitler when they say that but he could just have that for his nick because he likes it. i can see where you are coming from, but i don't see it as a real problem.

also, why didn't you just tell a mod about this instead of creating a forum thread? there's no reason for it to be on here, that's what the report system is for, lol.

As for whether it should be tolerated, I don't see why not. So long as the user doesn't expound any Nazi views, I have no problem with the name.

I don't really see a problem with it, unless someone has a real offence against that name then why couldn't it be used? Of course people that know (should be everyone) about the connotations of this name are mostly all bad but it doesn't have a significant link to it actually being offensive to anyone at this momment.

to anyone aabout my name change. it isnt that i like hitler. i actually dont like hitler or nazis my grandfather fought them..my sister is belle in the game ask her...there was a reason for the name change. i dont need to tell anyone here why. but thanks i have never been the topic of a discussion

To you who are expressing concern over a name in a online text game...a war game. Trust me when I say that DAS FUHRER or Rakkasan or whatever name he choses for the moment is NO Natzi, quite the opposite in fact. If he would have been born 70 or 80 years ago would have faught fiercly along side every other soldier who faught in WW11. Now on the flip side of that..even if he was a Natzi supporter..the name doesnt hurt ANYONE..if someone wanted to call themselves Hitler...that would just mean he was an enemy to most everyone else, or he could be your neighbor or best friend. Its a name in an online text game, he isnt insulting anyone, calling anyone names, or bullying. Judge the person not the name..and if you were curious as to why the name..ask him..he may tell you.
